Participant
In a very long post which didn’t reveal much in terms of specifics, Greene unveiled the “PUBG 2018 Roadmap” which included hints of new modes, new vehicles, new weapons, and even emotes – something popular in Fortnite and other live-service games like Desti

Meanwhile, competitor Epic Games is touting more new modes, another new season of content and a mobile version of Fortnite which will support cross-play with PC and PS4 versions of the game. It’s that rapid development, lack of loot box gambling, lack of hackers, and great communication with the community that’s helping Fornite takeover PU

Where Fortnite has significant updates on the content front, including fun new modes, seemingly every week, PUBG still barely runs on Xbox One and hasn’t done anything of note on PC since launching out of early access. For this reason, in the last few weeks Fornite’s popularity has skyrocketed while also earning mainstream buzz – positive buzz – something PUBG is starting to losing a little steam on for the first time in its young l

Today, PUBG Corp posted another update in the news section of the PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Steam page. Titled “Inspirations of Codename: Savage – Volume II,” the post describes the developer’s plans for the game’s Savage map going forward. They lead off the post by stating their plans to regularly update the map going forward; stating that “we have months of work left to do.” Most importantly, this update both describes and shows what will become the Savage map’s defining feature: an underground cave sys

Despite encountering a multitude of difficulties, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has managed to continually change and grow in the months since it exploded onto the gaming scene early last year. Just last weekend the game’s developers implemented a new War mode that pitted three squads of ten players against each other. This new mode only lasted for the weekend, but PUBG Corp appears to have several other additions in the works that will help keep the game’s community energi

Not long after its main competitor Fortnite came to iOS devices, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds released a mobile version as well. Available to both iOS and Android users and requiring no special invite codes at launch, PUBG Mobile seems to have taken off as one of the more popular battle royale mobile games on the market, and for good rea

That’s okay for now since PUBG is one of the best-selling games ever and accomplished this in less than a year, and it is still one of the most popular games on the internet. But H1Z1 was in a similar spot a year ago and some slow development and bad decision-making saw it fall off the map. Even its recent launch out of early access and going free-to-play today cannot save H1Z1 so in response to all of this, Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene finally took to community to lay out plans for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds in 2018 and it’s about damn t

In an interview with Eurogamer , Greene stated that there is no reason a player should die in the red zone. Greene also conveyed confidence in the reason for the zone’s in-game existence, which has endured some pushback from some of the PUBG community’s louder voi

Greene continued to state that although the red zone serves a purpose, the decision on whether or not to remove it from the game – as with all other in-game features – will ultimately come down to the collaborative efforts between the community and the development t

And that issue is only going to become more prevalent later this year as we expect multiple Battle Royale games to start being announced and releasing in various forms. We already know that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Battlefield V should have their own takes on Battle Royale, and that Ubisoft’s Massive is likely developing one too. Every triple-A publisher must be, and when the big gaming companies come in with better looking, more feature-full, and better optimized battle royale titles – many of them attached to established franchises – Pubg Guide is in trouble. Especially if they keep milking players for loot box money when these other new games may not have that. And that’s good thing. PUBG isn’t free-to-play like its current competition, so its microtransaction practices are slimey at b

Loot boxes! More loot boxes ! Locked loot boxes! Selling loot boxes! Cheating for loot boxes! This has been the story of **PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds ** for a few months since developer PUBG Corp (a division of Bluehole) has slowed down on making their flagship game bet

”It is an overwhelming voice already! And people say there’s no reason to it but it provides audio cover, it really looks cool when you’re fighting in it. And really, you shouldn’t be dying to the red zone. If you’re dying to the red zone then, I’m sorry but you’re not a very good player. It’s like, you know there’s a hundred meter safe zone around the edge of it, if you’re in a building there’s a very little chance of you getting hit, it’s there for a specific reason, it looks really cool and it provides tension. If you’re trapped in a fight in the red zone, it’s exciting! People say that it has no reason, but it does. It’s there for a very specific reason which is providing audio cover and even when it’s a little bit in the distance it provides enough cover to run a little bit, so, there are reasons. But, that said, if there is an outpouring of hate towards it, we may consider
